New Fuel Tank

Postby Dennis Hall » Sat Nov 28, 2015 9:27 am

I see the new fuel tanks come with all the holes pre-drilled and the builder now installs the Oops Fittings. Anybody know how many of each size is needed?

Thanks

I would think Sonex would ship with enough fittings to plug those holes.
The old tank had one big and four small fittings.

No, fittings do not come with the new tanks, you have tell them what size and how many you need. Thought someone might know, l will call Sonex on Monday.

That would be one for the finger strainer (not sure what size it is but it's NPT) and four 1/8"NPT female fittings.

You will need one big one for the finger strainer and main feed in the sump. One up near the neck as a vent. And probably one more small one at the sump to install the fuel level probe. The other two in the old tank were used for a sight guage should you choose to install one.
