That's great work for your Troop Bryan. Not sure if all of boys will appreciate it, but I bet the adults and the patrol quartermaster and grub masters will thank you!

Thanks Scott! The boys liked it too.

Here is Adam riveting together the aft lower cabin details:

I know there are probably a few scratch builders who look at my premade parts and think I'm a sissy - rightfully so. But I am opting for Sport Trainer controls and I have to make those parts. Here is the layout:

And here it is cut out:

I still got it!

Here Adam is pilot drilling phenolic for the flap blocks. We have to make 3 for the sport trainer controls.

Flap handle mounted, didn't find the spring in the kit. Where did you guys get yours? Lowes Depot?

Sorry I was in a hurry. So my answer was not complete.
The spring did not come with the kit. I had to order it from Sonex. I do not recall the part number. I think it was on my drawing. I can check tomorrow when I am back at my hangar.

I am loathe to admit you are making me feel more stupid than usual.

Flap handle spring?

John,
Thanks for the clarification! I can get the part number easily, as I can walk to my hangar. But now I know not to look for it!

Yes Robbie, I was looking for the flap handle spring.

I didn't know about this either... must be something only for the center-mounted flap handle?
