i agree, at least every 25 hours IAW SNX-SB-002

"All Welded Components should be checked prior to your next flight..... These should be continuously checked at regular intervals after that, such as at Oil Changes, 25, 50, 100, 500 hour inspections and at Annual Inspection."

Thanks for posting the photos Charlie. It looks to me like the cause here may have been excessive grinding leaving the metal paper thin? I would be giving every welded part in this plane a very close inspection.

I really doubt any sonex supplied, tig welded part, will be the same.
