aero carb tuning on Jabiru 2200

I have a Jabiru 2200 in a Sonex. I recently installed the Aerocarb and can"t get it "tuned" following their directions. Anybody have any tips? I kept the fuel pump and put in a Holley pressure regulator and set it about as low as it will go. (1 to 4.7 range. factory setting of 2,2 was to high) Put in #1 needle. Still working on the needle setting, If I lean slightly at idle I get smooth power up to static RPM of 2530. Prince prop may be a little to much pitch. Still don"t have it adjusted good enough to fly from a 7200 ft runway.
