how far out does your mixture cable travel? I'm deciding in placement.

Hi Bruce,

I have to measure exactly but it wouldn't be more than 2" from full rich to cutoff.

Cheers

Hi Bruce,
I'll make one recommendation regarding the mixture cable. Do not trust the set screw that locks the cable to the aerocarb. Mine let go, thankfully it happened while I was on the ground. The solution a friend gave me was to lock wire around the coil sheathing , on both sides of the channel that it runs through the carb. I did two loops tight up against the channel using 1 piece of wire for both sides, then spun both ends together. You'll never have to worry that you've got the cable locked too tight or too loose.
