I had a small amount of oil on the belly after every flight and it was bugging me so I added an air/oil separator which cured the issue. I haven't had an issue with it since!

Yes. I had my exit in that same location and it sucked the oil right out. I've since moved the outlet to its own hole in the cowl, with a slight forward-facing angle on the outlet, to get a little positive air into the tube, instead of the Coke bottle effect of air over the hole creating negative pressure. Has made a HUGE difference in the amount of oil on the bottom of the plane.
