Are those your intake manifolds? Did you modify them with that notch?

My new heads had smaller intake ports than the old ones. Look at that sharp corner.

I rotated the engine until the intakes were closed, jammed the ports full of paper towels and blue tape, then went at it with the Dremel and file.

The intake tube did not line up with the GPAS manifolds. Not that they lined up great with the stock manifolds but it was unworkable. So I cut an inch out of both sides, down low.

I made a ring. 1.5" holesaw for the ID, 2.5" holesaw for the OD.

Once the silicone adapter slides down, the inside of the ring is sealed and the outside seals the oblong hole in the baffle.

Next up: extra credit baffle tweaks. I want to really go after good cooling.
