I am just about to start fitting my cowling to the Sonex/Rotax 912 ULS and it occurred to me, if the weight an balance is such that more weight is required over the nose, I may have to fit an extension to move the prop forward- which then means further modifications (time) to the cowling.
I consider this to be an unlikely scenario, as I already have an Airmaster/3 blade Whirlwind (11.2 Kg or there about's) stuck out on the front. However the possibility exists.
Just wondering how many Sonex/Rotax 912 ULS have experienced the need for more weight out front (I expect to be nose heavy - ballast may be needed in the tail)
