Temperature (H2O & Oil) sensor electrical connectors

Hi Brains Trust,

Even my local Rotax dealership doesnt know what these are called or where I can get them.

They are the slide on electrical connectors that attach to the "disk" on top of the oil & water (head) temperature sensors .
I have seen at least two types; a push on and a pull on. They both resemble an ordinary female spade connecter BUT have an additional spring loaded retaining system (lock on).

Any assistance with:
Correct name

Part number

Supplier
will be much appreciated

Pretty sure what you’re looking for is a “Series 56” connector. Common in automotive electrical, as I’m finding out while replacing the wiring harness in my 65 GTO! Common sizes are 2.8, 4.8 and 6.3mm. The 6.3 is the common ¼” female or male locking spade terminal. A google search will yield many suppliers, though automotive are usually more likely i.e. Jegs and similar.

Thanks Osh - will follow up.

I received a lot of "fix" type advice (shrink tube/silicon glue/etc) rather than using an appropriate part.

Connectors have been delivered.

Three installed (coolant/head temp X 2 and one oil temp),

Seem to be very effective - slip on quit easily but hard to remove until spring depressed.

Definitely the right part for job.
