How does the 15mm effect the cowl fitting. I am thinking of shifting mine forward about that much because the Rotax is quite light.

Sorry to take so long to reply I haven't even had time to post any pics
the distance only matters to those who have already fitted up the aerovee otherwise makes not much difference at all

Very nice! What size/type of tubing did you use? Did you move the Rotax forward at all due to it being lighter? Do you have weight and balance calculations for the Rotax position?

Same tubing as the Sonex plans suggest, the hub is 1/4 inch further forward.
