I got RDAC problem solved thanks to a very good crew at MGL and especially Adam at Michigan Avionics.
Now my problem is that the old Ultra won’t remember how many pulses per 10 revs on my Jabiru.
There is no fix to it so I’m looking for an old ULTA replacement. If you upgraded from
This unit and have one on the shelf please let me know if you’d like to sell it.

Is there a specific board or chip that you know is bad? I have an ultra that the display died on after an alternator failure. I have no idea what if anything else is wrong with it but can send you it or one of the boards from it if it would help fix yours. MGL said mine was fixable but I found a replacement before sending it to them.

Thanks for the information. I do not know which board or chip is faulty. We had it apart yesterday checking all contacts and shining those up it but didn’t change my units operation. We also looked for a schematic but couldn’t find one.
When I talked to Michigan avionics they said that most likely there is no fix. All
Of the chips are soldered in making it very difficult to replace them.

Let me know how much money I can send you for it. Be nice to have the RDAC too but not totally necessary. The new one that MGL sent me only has two CHTs. The new owner would prefer 6 like my old RDAC.
