Recommendations for wire strippers & crimpers?

Postby 984dm » Thu Sep 01, 2016 2:36 pm

Hello fellow builders,

Before long I'll begin working on the wiring on my Sonex project. Just thought I'd ask you all about tools: which type and brand of wire stripper, and crimper, have you had the best luck with? Please list your source also if you remember it.

Thanks,
Dave

I have the exact same strippers and would highly recommend them. I don't know of a cheaper source. My crimpers look exactly the same as the picture but I got mine from Harbor Freight for less than $15.

I have that HF crimper too and it just wouldn't crimp tight enough so I bought the B&C one. Like most HF tools, its hit or miss on quality.
