Where is your Gold Cube located in your system? I use the Red Cube and place it inside the cockpit right after the shutoff valve. It reads very accurately. I think this is due to the straight run from the tank outlet to the firewall, and no fuel pump pulses to confuse it.

Fuel tank, firewall, Gold Cube, AeroInjector. No fuel pump and no obstructions.

Just by way of reference, I have my red cube mounted in what should be wrong place, that is after both the engine driven and electric backup fuel pumps and just before the Bing carb on CAMit 3300, but it still gives very accurate readings. I do have a very long 3/8" OD aluminum tube running across half the firewall, then making 180 turn and back across to the red cube, Suspect it is that long straight run that has made the most difference. Considered relocating to before the pumps, but decided if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

David,

I have the stock Sonex setup on my Waiex/Camit. I have the fuel shut off at the tank and then hard tube to the gascolator and then stainless braided line from the gascolator to the Red fuel cube, and then stainless braided again to the Aero-Injector. The stainless also is fire-sleeved.
My fuel burn indication is spot on. I normally read about 7.5 to 8.5 in the climb at 2850 and not leaned. Then it drops to about 5.6-5.8 in cruise and down to about 5.1-5.2 in the descent. All in all I'm coming it at 5.4 chock to chock.

I think that is exactly where its supposed to be David and possibly where I might have to move mine to if I can not get it to read properly after trying the easier options first.
