Pilot PTT Hi, Lo

This sure seems like a dumb question, but...

On my factory supplied wiring harness, there are two wires bundled together, one labeled pilot PTT Hi, one labeled pilot PTT Lo. I have the usual SPST momentary button on the stick. What's the difference? Do they just attach to the two poles on my switch? When the PTT button is pressed it will make contact between the two wires.

My common sense side says it doesn't matter. The point is to complete the circuit using the momentary switch to transmit.

Hi Darick; I bet if you check the PTT lo wire with an ohmmeter to ground, its grounded.
It may be included in case the radio gets installed in a fiberglass
plane where grounds are hard to come by.
Just connect the PTT hi to the center terminal and the PTT lo to the bottom terminal on
the PTT switch and you're good to go.
