Princeton fuel probe having zero ohms output

Postby phenry » Sat Dec 06, 2014 7:54 pm

I have a problem with my Princeton fuel probe which is connected to an mgl ultra panel.
When I try to calibrate the fuel level the output from the probe does not change as fuel is added to the tank, it stays constantly at zero ohms. Has any body seen this issue before?

Have you checked that the fuel level "pull up" dip switch on your RDAC is set correctly?

Hi Peter, just in case you haven't solved this one yet - I also had trouble with my Princeton probe. It was a while back so I can't remember what the output was but it didn't change when I added fuel. Princeton were very good to deal with. They sent me a replacement which solved all the problems - well, except for the fuel leak that developed from the tank fitting which took another month to plug.
