Does anyone have any photos of the Aerovee baffle setup on a B-model? I bought the SNB-P30 kit from Sonex which seems to come with updated (B-model) parts, but the instructions that came with it that show the assembly look nothing at all like the parts I got!

I’m in the middle of assembling my baffle kit for the B. I agree the directions are awful.

Tim,
I sent pics of my baffle installation to your Gmail. I recommend you do not use the Sonex supplied rubber baffle material as shown in my pics. I changed mine after a few initial flights in order to help get the cylinder temps under control. It is difficult to fit and does not seal very well. Use regular aviation baffling material, the thinner material works better than the thicker stiffer stuff and does a much better job of making the cooling air flow through the cylinders rather than over the top of the baffles.

Thank you Lou, I’ll look out for that email (hasn’t arrived yet). Much appreciated for the help! The baffling has been a pain to say the least.
