New Onex Owner

Postby LarryEWaiex121 » Fri Jan 27, 2023 5:05 pm

Larry in N.Idaho. On vacation in Havasu at moment but had questions for anyone that might know Michael Roderer somewhere near Dayton, OH.
He built Onex #0038 N752MR.
Long story short, I bought this as a project in retirement. It was hard landed twice, wiping out gear and prop. Was put back by AP at FBO in Bonners Ferry, ID. On next flight, same results.
Plane needs gear and prop again. Plane and AeroVee only have 75 hrs, per the logs.
I’ve been flying Waiex121YX for 12yrs and almost 1,000 hrs.
Does anyone know of good used or new Sensenich 54x44 prop? Maybe even a Prince?
New or serviceable gear?
Would be nice to pick Michael’s brain if anyone knows him?
Won’t pick up plane till end of Feb. Bought this 2 days before leaving on RV trip.
Looked it over, thought about it and made offer and bought it.
Rather impulsive, but should be fun to make good again working under an A&P.
