Has anyone ever put a turbo on a Onex with a nose wheel?

My friend Dwight bought one with a turbo, flew it for about 100 hours, fancied it up, and sold it recently. He also owns a Rans S7. I flew that turbo Onex prior to his purchase.

It flew great and did what the specs said it would do. BTW, as I set that thing up on short final I couldn't help but feel the landing approach, touchdown, and roll-out was as simple and straightforward as a 150!. Total non-event.

Here are a few pictures of the one Lou mentions. It was VERY tight in there.

Yeah, that's it. I have a turbo on my Waiex B. The turbo and cooling stuff take up a lot of space behind the engine, But you can still get in there for maintenance and inspections.

I have a trigear Onex turbo. It is a very tight fit. Not much space to get behind the engine.

A friend of mine just bought an Aerovee, tail dragger, Onex and is in the process of adding the nose wheel. He would like to add a turbo but it seems to be almost impossible. Any help you can give would be appreciated. He has a list of questions as you might expect.
Fire wall arrangement?
Battery location?
Turbo cooling system?
Changes to the intake/exhaust system?
Any pictures would be helpful. You can contact me directly or through the forum and I will put you in contact with him or pass the info on to him. He is in the process of registering the plane with the state and FAA and not listed currently with Sonex.

I would suggest he makes sure it runs (flies) good before adding the Turbo. You can see from the photos that adjusting the secondary ignition is nearly impossible without some MAJOR work.
