Onex control stick hardware.

Maybe some can help me with this. My MS24694-S69 flat head screws that hold on the rod end bearings don't have holes drilled in them for the cotter pins. Has anyone found a screw that fits the application with the hole drilled?

It has been a while but I recall, during stick assembly, fruitlessly searching for the right bolt that had a hole for a cotter pin. Finally talked to Kerry and was told I would just need to drill the hole. Thought that would be really difficult but it turned out to be easy.

I had to drill the hole too. It was fairly easy. Just file away a small area of the threads to create a flat spot where you will drill the hole. That will keep the drill bit from wandering around.

I use a nut as a drill guide. Drill a straight hole through a spare nut, locknut it in position and drill bolt.

Thanks everyone for the great input. I was afraid that I would have to drill the hole. I will probably use the nut method if my nut is soft enough to drill through easily. I dread using tiny drill bits but I will get er done.
