Lots of interesting ideas and i might re-visit making a tail-wheel dolly myself. Back to the original subject title, has anyone made an actual "Tail wheel tow bar"? I.e. one that connects to the tail-wheel and has a handle/bar to push/pull the tail-wheel around? For this I can only imagine it has to fasten to the tail-wheel somehow, whether onto the tail-wheel bolts or strapped on. It sounds like Bill might have achieved this, though from the description it sounds like some welding was required?

I built a tail wheel tow bar out of scrap. Works very well pushing or pulling. Have pictures but don’t know how to attach them.

The dolly I made is held together with screws and bolts and nuts. Welding would work but I didn't have access to a welder at the time.
