Anyone using the Sonex stick grip found a good push to talk switch to fit the grip?

Hi pete,
For our legacy waiex, we used the ray allen stick grips. The sonex molded stick grips a good ptt switch from B&c , newton KS. The larger one they sell. Your local electronics store may have some also.

You guys that are looking for stick grips. Go to your nearest bicycle shop and check out the handle bar grips. The one I use is airfoil shaped and has finger notches. No problem drilling for a push to talk.

What wire gauge do you guys use to connect the PTT switch? I'm not really getting into electrical stuff yet on my build, but I'm just about ready to install the control stick assembly, so I want to pre-wire it first so I don't have to take it out again later to run wires through it.

Also, I take it you solder the wires to the PTT button and just use a spade connector on the other end then?

22 ga. It's carrying next to no current; it just closes a loop.
