idler arm bushings

idler arm bushings

Started assembling the idler arm. Plans call for "paper shims".the plans list no part number. Was wondering do they really mean paper is to be used as shim material?

Yes they mean paper. I used some card stock paper to shim the plates.

I used aluminum pie plate for shims. Or aluminum foil.
