Hi len,
There are a few people who have put jab2200/camit2200 in their onex. Hopefully they can help you out. Not sure of a 'bed' type mount, ive only seen that for the corvair engine. Im suprised the factory hasnt come out with a mount for the onex for the 2200' series, and now being oem with UL Power. The 2200 and UL 260 series have the same mounting platform. Something along the lines of selling more airframes for non vw type builders. You may want to research older posts from the people that have installed 2200's. Give them a PM. Good luck and keep building!

Thanks Michael
I have the engine installed in the Onex now. I welded my own mount to install the 2200 in the same place the Aerovee would be, no long nose. I am looking for the bed mount to hang the required weight on the front of the engine to get CG.
Onex 152.
Len

Hi len,
How much weight to you need to install.? Ive only seen a few onex's with the long nose, just be careful because dead empty weight goes up and useful load goes down. Has anyone taken a look at the sam lsa that zenith bought the rights to? At oshkosh they had a lyc 180hp stuffed in the nose , instead of the rotax 912. To counter the weight, they had a massive heavy tailwheel spring in the back. Looked like something an F-18 would use on a carrier.
Keep building len, when finished post some pics, let us know of your success!!
