ONX-F03

Postby WesRagle » Fri Apr 27, 2018 6:55 pm

Guys,

I bought a rather old kit (#89). I am currently working on the aft fuse. While reviewing print revisions I noticed that Sonex LLC has changed the seat belt called out. The belt they now call out is more like what I am used to.

Question: Should I order a new seat belt or is the old style just fine in service?

Thanks a Bunch,
Wes Ragle

This might be a relevant post from back when the older seat belts went out of stock due to the passing of Jim House and the closing of his Aero-Tuff seatbelt company.

I'm still using the old style in my Sonex.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply.

The belts that came with the kit are made in China with a hockey puck looking buckle. Not sure I like the belt, but I suppose I'll go ahead and use it.
