See the cleco?

Leave that rivet out until after you countersink the forward wing mount angle on F11. Or, put it in and drill it out later.

Edit: If you don't have a nifty pancake drill you may want to leave out the two rivets aft of the forward wing mount angles on the bottom longeron.

Riveting merrily along, I forgot the instruction on F12 "Aft wing attach angle and gussets attached to the angle are not riveted at this time".

Should I just drill these out now before going further?

Definitely unrivet it now.

Mike,
I painted it orange because I thought it looked cool, and I knew I would be looking at the doubler for a couple years. Good point about flipping the rivets, thanks!

Mike or Bryan, can you be more specific about which rivets would be good to install from the other side to make room for the wing attach bolt?

Darick,
On the wing mount angles there are a bunch of holes where the wing tunnel mounts. There is an area in the middle with no holes. The wing spar bolt goes there later. This is the area of which Mike speaks.

DO NOT transfer the hole in that location from the tunnel skins to the angles. See the plans revisions.

In late September I assembled my airplane and did not do the modification before I did. As you can see in the attached photos, the rivets made it impossible to put the nut on. I was tempted to say I used duct tape, but....

I ended up riding down the tail as required to get the nut on the bolt and safety it. Hope this helps you figure out which rivets to reverse.

Thanks everyone for the info.
Bryan,Unriveted the aft wing attach angle and the two rivets where you are pointing.
Robbie, riveted the center most four rivets from the other side to make room for the bolt/ nut.
