Does anyone have pictures during or after the oil cooler installation on a 3300? I actually have a generation 4 but I don't think the differences are enough to be a issue. The pictures Sonex have really close up and kinda difficult to tell exactly how the cooler looks installed and the pictures Jabiru provides have the cooler hanging underneath the sump where there is clearly not enough clearance for the cowl. Thanks

Thanks for that. It looks like it's kinda in front of the bottom sump whereas Jabiru has it completely suspended underneath with the front of the cooler flush with the front edge of the sump. I guess I just have to build the brackets per the plans and attach the top horizontal bracket to the underside of the intake manifold and however it sits at that location is how it goes. Thanks again

I doubt a Jabiru type cooler would fit a Sonex without doing serious cowling modifications.

The front of this cooler is flush with the rear of the sump. For mounting on the Gen 2 just remove bolts from the induction manifold I think they were the bolts that hold the muffler's heat shroud. The gen 4 still has a muffler heat shroud so I guess the mounting would be similar.
