On Detail “B” (outboard vertical stiffener angle) I have a question regarding the orientation of the rivets:

- AN470-5-6 (4 required)
- Should the shop head be on the rear of the spar (like all the other rivets), or, should be on the front side of the spar to be formed against the angle piece - since that is the thicker material?

It is common practice to have the shop head on the thicker material, in this case the angle piece, and the factory head on the thinner material, in this case the main spar webbing.

I put the factory head on the angle piece, even if it's different direction of the rest of the rivets on the spar, just to follow standard practice.
