Rotax Engine Mounts for Legacy Aircraft

Hello SonexBuilders.net!
Due to popular demand, Sonex Aircraft is currently designing Rotax 912-series engine mounts for Legacy Sonex, Waiex and Xenos Aircraft in both Standard and Tri-Gear configurations. Design of both mounts is nearly finalized and customers are encouraged to pre-order now, as Legacy Rotax mounts will be special-order items not kept in regular inventory: http://www.sonexaircraft.com/eshop/cart.php?target=category&category_id=452
http://www.sonexaircraft.com/eshop/cart.php?target=product&product_id=17646&category_id=452
http://www.sonexaircraft.com/eshop/cart.php?target=product&product_id=17647&category_id=452
Installation will require the SNB-P53-01 Rotax Attach Bars originally developed for B-Model Rotax installation:

A set of Qty 8 ACV-P01-19 AeroVee Rubber Shock Mounts will be needed: http://www.sonexaircraft.com/eshop/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16774&category_id=452
All Rotax engine installations (Legacy and B-Model) require the use of a 1-3/8" prop hub extension. Sonex Aircraft recommends Saber Mfg. PN 1.375x5 Rotax 912 or equivalent, currently priced at $295 by Saber: http://www.sabermfg.com/
Note that, while B-Model cowlings are designed to accommodate Rotax installation, Legacy cowlings were not designed with the Rotax in-mind, and modifications may need to be made by the builder.
Sensenich has already designed a prop for Rotax 912/Sonex or Waiex installations on B-Model and Legacy aircraft: http://www.sonexaircraft.com/kits/props.html
As-always, please feel free to contact us with questions!
