Today was a big day. I started the wing rigging. All I did was level the fuselage and insert the wings. I inserted the pins in the 3 alignment holes.

Looking great John! Take your time, measure twice, and enjoy the rigging process! It looks like you're building a beauty there!

It has been a while since I last posted on my progress.

I have finished my wing rigging. I did have a problem with part of the right side main spar attach bolt hole. Some how the final hole did not follow the pilot hole in the forward vertical angle and the front part of the forward attach block. The final hole had a small 'divet' of about 10% from the pilot hole. The hole through the aft side of the forward attach block, spars, aft attach block and aft vertical angle was perfect. So I replaced the forward vertical angle and forward attach block. I mated the wings outside of the fuselage. I made a bushing that is 3/8th OD and 1/4th ID. I used the good aft holes as a guide and inserted the bushing and drilled the 1/4th pilot hole through the forward attach block. I then used a 3/8th drill bit where I had dulled all but the first 1/2 inch to drill the 3/8th hole through the forward attach block. I put the wings back in the fuselage in the proper position. I then drilled the 3/8th hole through the forward vertical angle from the aft to the forward. Again I used the 3/8th drill bit I had dulled.

Success!! I now have very tight perfect holes on both sides.

I have also finished installing my tail. Including the fairings.

Today I was able to install my main landing gear with hydraulic brakes and wheels.

The wing rigging problem was a bummer for a while but I feel like I am back on course with good motivation.

Looks great John! I am using the Xtreme (just one) in my panel as well, really like the functionality, looks and small package! Your getting closer to being finished.
