Great pictures! Looks great.
Makes me want to get back to Arizona to continue/start my Phase 1 testing.

I love seeing the involvement of you and your son working on your project. Great memories for both of you.

Wing walk test:

Success, even at phase two where I climbed on.

Here is my setup to make the sticks parallel so I can mark where the hole goes. After I had it true I clamped it, moved it to the vise, and used a HF transfer punch to mark the hole. Adam backed me up with a bucking bar.

Steve, we decided to take your advice and leave the floor unriveted. That helped Adam install the flap torque tube.

When we pulled the floor off we noticed we had really dented it in the spar tunnel area when inserting the wings. Bummer. Anybody else do that?

Gee Bryan, you're going to be so embarrassed every time somebody walks beneath your Waiex.

Exactly! I'll have to park over a puddle, cactus, dog poop or something at every fly-in so nobody crawls under.

Puddles - unreliable, cactus - risk of punctures, dog poop - that's the way to go, but dogs are not common on airfields. You'll have to carry some with you. About a pocketful should do.

Another reason I didn't polish the floor panel! Any dents dings or scratches become lost in the dull luster of the aluminum... LOL

Yep, I dented mine too. After 4 years, nobody has noticed it in passing nor does it seem to effect performance.
