Dana,
What did you insulate your fuel lines and gascolator with?

I used Thermo shield and on the gascolator and fuel lines. I put foam pipe insulation around the bowl. Here is a link to the Thermo shield.

It is a funny thing the things we use to approach a problem. When I was at NASA working on a movie. The last Shuttle was being assembled in the VAB. I was with one of the NASA guys and noticed that the fix for the ice problem on the solid rockets looked like expanding foam insulation and 1/4" cotton line. His reply was no no that is not what we used. But I bet they went to home depot for the work they did in the test cell when someone "had an idea". After all wasn't the Space shuttle an experimental aircraft?

First is going to be 50 to 100 mile trips for breakfast. Then I will do longer trips to Grand Canyon, Tucson, San Diego, Ann Arbor, Chicago. Then I hope to get to Rio Linda this year and Oshkosh next year.

I will let you know. I do plan on stopping in Burlington Iowa also to visit family and friends. I went to high school near there. I think I need to plan a very long trip to Oshkosh so I can stop on the way and visit everyone.
