Bryan, I used the end of a wing rib to copy holes to my spacers. The laser cut holes are the same spacing as on the spar web. If I recall, when making the root ribs you cut off the ends flanges of some ribs, can use that cut-off flange as a template.

Ryan,
Good thought. Unfortunately I threw those flanges out!

The mild steel tool I made locates the holes end to end as well as with the proper spacing, and hopefully it will stand up to transferring 80 holes.

Looking good Bryan. My left wing is in limbo as I am working the annual on our beech B24R!

Thanks Ken and Robbie!

Nose ribs:

Compared to scratch building hummelbird wings this is easy. Just cleco on. Here is my wing leveling scheme. A piece of 1/4" rod through the tooling holes provides a chord line reference.

After deburring Adam started riveting the details on the aft spar, as well as the wingtip mount on the forward spar. Seeing ribs on the wing has stoked his enthusiasm!

Great idea of leveling the wing Bryan. I was placing the level across the tops of the spars, but, I had to use a lot of wood to raise the rear spar high enough to be level with the main spar! Also, where did you get the flexible drilling shaft? Been looking for something like that for later on.

Ken,
I think I got the snake drill from Terry Tools.
http://www.terrytools.com/sfda.html
They don't list prices but I remember them being much more reasonable than the other sources.
