Awesome. Hangar looks big on a wingless Sonex!

Excellent Dana! Did you move the wings also?

I'm going to move them tomorrow morning with most of the tools and parts from my shop. I'll be alone again. I need to find someone to help get them on the fuselage.

That's sooo great to see Dana! Very inspirational. But what the heck is all of the dry ground and blue stuff in the sky? I bets it's also warm there too...very jealous (your Midwest fellow builders we are)

Have you previous mated and drilled out the wing attach holes? Just curious...

Moving to the airport is a very satisfying step.

Did you go over the musical road on your way? My son is an air traffic controller at LA Center in Palmdale. He lives in Lancaster and whenever I'm out there I have to drive on the musical road at least once.

Good luck and if I get out there this summer I'll look you up.

Well today was a very busy day. I was going to get up at 5am and start packing but I woke up at 3:30am had a cup of coffee and started packing for the final load to the airport. Got all packed and arrived at the airport as the sun was coming up. I got everything unloaded and the wings on with help form my son in law. It was 70 degrees and calm. I did drive over the musical road as I do every time I go out there. I can't get enough of it. Bob look me up any time. If your son works the radios I am sure I have talked to him. Scott yes I did the wing rigging last year (2013 Christmas). I have about a days work to get everything finished. I hope to get the inspection in a few weeks.

I started my aerovee for the first time today. I am calling it a success. I have a few small EFIS issues and more tuning to do. Today was just to see if it starts. Here is a link. I go to 1:57 for the start. I was going over check lists etc.

Looks and sounds great Dana! That LE landing light must not draw much current! Also what is wrong with the sky? It is a funny color, like blue or something.

Just checking in from dreary Illinois!
