Bryan,
I made a very similar video the first time the elevator pushrods and trim tab cable was connected...LOL

I know the topic was brought up on the 20deg flap setting a lot of us added...and I gotta say, I don't see how you would have the spacing to do that with the ST controls. Looks like the detents are pretty close due to the distance the bracket is away from the flap pivot/moment arm. Interesting. I've flown in Steve Stahl's Waiex with the ST controls so many times I never though about why he only had 10 and 30 degrees (other than that's how Sonex says to make it).

Carry on, your not far away from getting all of the cockpit controls done.

Thanks Scott and Glenn! I agree Scott that there is going to be no extra flap position with the center controls. I am good with it!

My last picture of my master cylinder mount was poor. Following the plans I have zero edge distance on the bolts. Perhaps the dimensions of the master cylinder have changed or something. So, I came up with my own design to keep moving forward. Stock Sonex on the left, mine on the right.

This is my own permutation, not blessed by Sonex or guaranteed by myself. I used thinner (.050") but sterner (7075-T6) stuff and did a little fancy brake work. I can tell you that if you ignore the proper bend radius on 7075 it will break! After that little lesson I cleaned up my act and it came out good.

AN5 bolts are specified for the MC but they are more like 9mm, or 21/64+ if you prefer. I made some shims for now out of flashing, but will look for better fitting bolts. The flashing shims let me locate the holes nicely.

Slightly OT- but here is a picture of my co-builder nearly half his life ago.

Found it while looking for an old post to answer a question on the C120/140 forums.

Tank fitted. You will notice I used the good duct tape to hold the angles. I don't screw around!

Thanks Ryan for the tip to locate these angles with the tank in place.
