Thanks Dale! Another thing that kills the reflection is all the sawdust from Matthew's human hamster wheel project. It is a mess in the hangar!

Hang the engine mount on this puppy, and flip it over and jam in the TI gear legs and axles (just for show...) and then you can say "ON THE GEAR BY THE NEW YEAR"...

You are onto my scheme.

Here is my gear hole alignment tool. Cut the threads off a long AN4 bolt, round the tip, polish off the cad plate with scotch brite.


I made a mark on it to make sure it was all the way in.

After I drilled the hole the rest of the way through the mount.

I drilled two holes today. Adam completely fabricated the F10-02 cap assembly.

Thanks Ihab! I believe we are defined by what we do - build airplanes, hamster wheels, our careers and family, flying, it all adds up. My youngest will be a force to be reckoned with in the homebuilding world, if it ever captures his interest. It may. Though somewhat off topic, the hamster wheel has netted me time to do the engine mount and landing gear as I got him working independently.
