No problem, hope it turns out nicely. Can't wait to see the turbo mocked up!

Pace has slowed some this December, lots of family activities always going on. I was able to spend a few hours in the garage this weekend, and have the components for the brake handle and cable guide fabricated, just need to drill the holes in the spar tunnel. Not looking forward to doing this now, wish the plans mentioned for a tri-gear this should be done prior to spar tunnel and lower skin riveting.

Making progress with the engine (intake, AeroInjector and alternator, coil triggers), and engine wiring.

I've also got a good start on the panel wiring. All of the circuit breakers and + feed to the switches are done. Panel is painted and labeled, and the starter, master switch and coils are wired to firewall components. Also received a second hand throttle quadrant Friday from another forum member, trying out the location. Thanks Tom G!

Looking forward to the holiday break...should be able to finish the wiring.

Oh, I also ordered my exhaust system and Prince P-Tip carbon fiber propellor for Christmas...the turbo will have to wait.

Continuing to make progress on the wiring, but jumped back to finish up the brakes and the controls. Made all of the critical pilot holes in the forward z-spar tunnel, and riveted the brake cable guide in place. What a challenge, but it's done. Routed the brake cable sheathing through the spar tunnel and down each respective main gear leg. Installed the brake handle and pulley system and tonight connected the brake cables. It works!

Worked on the fuel system a little yesterday and finished up the fuel line from the tank to the gascolator inlet today. Glad this is done, my arm is red and chaffed from reaching in through the flap drive cutout in the fuselage.

Very cool to see all the systems going in! Changes it from a tin can to an airplane.

I agree Bryan. It's been a fun year going from rivets to engine and now wiring.

The MGL V6 Com radio is now integrated into the airplane wiring harness. Ray Allen push to talk (PTT) grip switches are installed, and wired up to the radio. All that's left for wiring is the MGL Xtreme. It also comes with the prewired harness so it shouldn't take me that long for the actual unit, but then I need to install and connect the engine sensor wires to the RDAC. One step at a time!

Brakes and throttle quadrant are also completed.

I'm experimenting with these little micro Red LED bulbs. Thinking about placing them around the panel for night time flying, they are bright enough..ordered a simple LED dimmer today to see how it works
