Polishing is like a disease. Some of us seem to thrive on it though. I like the looks, and I like the weight. I like the non-toxic nature of it and the fact that I don't need an isolated room. I polish in the way back away from my renter's Skylane. My body blocks the mess from heading in the direction of the 182. The folding table will never be the same.

Hey Bryan, have you got into the S grade yet? I've been hacking through a lot of F9 and C grades (and T grade of Granitize) but am getting a lot of holograms out in the sun:

I'm going to try some S grade of Nuvite but really don't want to spend a few hundred on a Cyclo. I may try by hand and/or another DA polisher I have. Just curious what your experiences are. I can't count the number of hours I have polishing...it is a little bit like an addiction! Sure is messy though...

Mike,
I have not opened the S yet. I just want to get the majority of the job done prior to assembly. I still have holograms and scratches. The photos make it look better than it is. Still looks good though.

That mini rudder polish job is awesome! I've got to go to C and S. That's C for crazy reflective and S for so reflective it's Scary!

All formers drilled to the skins. Working on upsizing to #30 and drilling to the box.

Mine looked great till I rolled it outside the hangar and it had more swirls , and holograms , and was so disappointed , till I used the final grade , S and wow it was unbelievable how it took all the swirls out , but I also used a cyclo and sweatshirt material from my local fabric store , I buy a lot when it's on sale cause I use it to wipe it down in bewtween polish jobs , it will look good inside before you do the S but once outside its a different story. ,

Because I don't have the longerons riveted in yet, I am able to flex the skins out and get the tough holes for the turtledeck former mounts.
