Here is my panel with labels installed.

The PTT ICS lets you turn the squelch all the way up, so voice activated ICS doesn't work. My intercom is an SPA400N, and this feature is for noisy cockpits.

My panel is in. Just need to hook up a bunch of grounds, terminate a few wires, do another checkout, and I'm going to rivet it in.

Bryan, the photos aren't available anymore. Have you reposted them again by chance?

In the 3 point attitude the plate was 8 degrees nose down and the airplane was 9.5 degrees nose up. So, our hole pattern needed to rotate 17.5 degrees. We used this simple setup.

Afterwards we will cut out the red line and have a new template.

Darick,
Between having been screwed both by photobucket and postimage, I've sort of lost interest. If we had storage on the forum like all my other forums have, I'd be posting a lot. Because of our limited storage I have been super-downsizing my pictures to save space. Seems like too much effort. But if a member has a particular request for an old photo I'd dig it up.

John Monnett said I should do less posting and more building. I think he's right!

Bryan,
My keyed switch similar to yours on the panel, is wimpy. I've already bumped it while flying and turned off everything. Of course the engine kept running thanks to the primary ignition set up.

Does your's have a good detent that keeps it in position firmly? If so, could you share that info with a source and p/n?

Kerry says I could buy the one used in the Subsonex, which I assume is of high quality, for $35 (or so I forget the exact amount).

Darick,
My key switch only enables the starter. Somebody here had that good idea. The master switch is the red handle and is mechanical as I detailed in this thread:

If you have sharp eyes, you may have noticed my ball was out in that video.

I leveled the airplane to fix this.

After slotting the mounting holes I got it adjusted.

Next up - need to solder up my headset jacks and PTT switch connectors.
