How about a topic section for those going cross country in their Sonex aircraft who are looking for a place to put their aircraft overnight? If anyone is a local to a planned stop for a long cross country, maybe they could assist in finding a temporary home for our friend's bird.

Seems like something useful and if word spread of the topic maybe it would also help add to the membership here....

Great idea. Use this forum to request or offer hangar space.

Well I am willing to make my hanger available for an overnight stay for someone flying cross country. Located at Meadowlake Airport (KFLY) 10 miles North of Colorado Springs. Would also make available a 1970 VW Single Cab Pickup for local transportation (Stick Shift Skills Required). Just seems sometimes the worst part is when you get were you want to go, you can't go where you want without it costing even more. Give me a shout if your planning a trip this way.

I agree that providing hangar space for fellow travelers is a good idea. I am located in NH Windsock Village NH69. It is a private 4000 foot grass strip. I am not really on the way to anywhere, but you are welcome just call ahead.

Thanks Carl. Not quite there yet in the build, but happy to see the community. Used to have a 1970 bus, wolfsburg camper but special order by my mom without the pop-top. Gave it to my brother 5 years ago.

Cheers, Gordon
