My steam punk drill takes about a minute to coast down so that sucked. I used the dremel with a high speed cutter and I finished up with the holesaw.

Hi Bryan,

Can you elaborate on this? How did you use the dremel to recover after the fitting spun? (Asking because I'm doing mine next week and want to have the tricks ready)

Kevin,
By high speed cutter I mean this:

I don't exactly remember but I think I used the cutter to hog out the aluminum. Then I finished the hole. Not sure how I guided the holesaw after, maybe I used the force.

Kevin, borrow the tool from (jeez, I can't remember) to sand off the inside of the hole, to make it flat for the oops fitting to seal against. Somebody will remember who loans out the tool. It made the job much easier for me.

That is correct. I think David now has the tool back after I had it and sent it to the next builder that needed it.

That thing sure works!

oh yes - Dave already reached out to me, loaned me the _awesome_ tool and I did my tank. Now I just need to finish the fuse ;-)

Are DCA's tools for fitting the OOPs fittings still available for loan?
