F16-02 and 05 Fwd Tunnel Z measurement question

Postby Barry63 » Thu Feb 10, 2022 10:55 pm

In the process of fabing F16-02 Fwd Tunnel Zee and F16-05 Aft Angle. Looking at the measurements for the wing alignment holes, it appears to me that those 3 holes are measured from inside the lower bend, not from the outside edge of the part as is usually the case. Am I reading that correctly? Since the material thickness is .032, in order to be able to measure from the outside surface, I just need to add 1/32" to each measurement. I am planning on drilling both of these parts together at the same time for maximum accuracy.
Thanks

I think the tips of the arrows are obscured by the dashed line. Look at the line that extends from the left bottom to the end view - where the 8 25/32" measurement is for example.

Thanks, Bryan. After looking closer and taking some measurements on the plans, you are correct. Finished up the Fwd Zee yesterday.
