What kind of climb rate is capable, what weight was the aircraft at when obtaining the numbers and outside air temps. The 25% increase in HP over an aerovee should equate to some better performance even with the weight penalty of the 2700 cc engine.
Obviously it is not going to perform like a 3300 jab, but I would think it is somewhere between the 3300 jab and the Aerovee.
I don’t think the 3.3l is 40# heavier than the Jabaru 3300, I think they are much closer than that.
