Cherry MAX rivets
Posted: Wed Mar 23, 2016 2:44 pmAny particular vendor to purchase 1/8" nominal and oversize cherry max rivets? Been looking at ACS, wicks and cherry aerospace, so far, ACS is the cheapest.

You are correct! Unfortunately, I have to go with the cherry max since I had aggressively deburred the flaps and aileron parts leaving a bevel on the perimeter of all my holes. Luckily, up sizing to an oversized rivet will be the fix along with Sonex tech concurrence. $300 in rivets beats $900, or more, in parts plus more man hours for complete replacement. A humbling lesson learned..
