That is a nearly impossible question ;-)

It am NO expert, but:

Some people like the solid lifters better (CAMit has a conversion to change hydraulic liftters back (?))
Jab made lots of changes over the last ten years to the cam, through bolts and everything else in sight.
What folk would agree on is that the early hydraulic lifters (like mine) had a whole host of exciting potential outcomes

... so the short story:

A modern jab or particularly a modern camit seem to be nice engines. The solid lifter vs hydraulic lifter would be more in the area of religion that others can chip in on.
