I need to do some fibreglass work on my cowling. Did you guy's use polyester or epoxy?? I know the cowling is polyester but would prefer to use epoxy, just not sure how strong the joints will be.
Thanks
Phil

I used West Systems which I believe is an epoxy. It did the job very well

I second the west systems epoxy. I did the whole horizontal split mid with it and the stuff worked great. If you have a boat supply place near you they usually stock it.

Either resin will work on polyester. I narrowed the universal cowl quite a bit to better fit the Jabiru and used polyester for that. Its still good after 5 years.
