Sounds like a good idea. Same concept as WesRagle.
I would like to come up with a design/location that;
[list=]Has the jacks/sockets behind pilot/passenger, to keep as much of the headset leads out of the cockpit as possible
Incorporates a headset "hook"/stow point.
Minimises the chance of damage to plug/socket.
Covers all the electrical wiring & back end of socket
Accessible in flight should a plug come loose/not quite making contact [/list]
