I haven't flown in the rain so I don't know if this would help that issue, but I had quite a bit of air that used to come in around the forward bow, until I did this:

Last time I went flying I checked and wasn't getting the slightest bit of air coming in.

Excellent solution, I hope to do that to my canopy as well when I get to that point. The photos really help to understand the concept. I would have been lost without them. I appreciate you posting them Mike.

Use the rubber baffling trim that came with your aerovee, I was able to sandwich in in nicely between the turtle deck bulkhead and skin and acts as a tight weather strip when the canopy lowers on against it
