RG 58 coax antenna cable

Postby Kai » Wed Nov 25, 2020 2:36 am

Wonderful!

These things always seem to happen to me :-((

Recently I accidentaly cut my RG58 coax antenna cable in two halves close to the COM radio und the instrument panel. Getting anything done under there now is close to impossible, and getting access to the antenna foot on top of the turtldeck way back in the tailcone is impossible.

So does anybody know of a screw type RG 58 cable splice, that does not require crimping or soldering? Any link?

Thanks
Kai

How about something like this? Get a male and female twist-on for each end of the splice, then connect the 2.
