Just from playing with one at the MGL booth, never in flight. The first thing that a lot of people must think when they first see that radio is why the heck would anyone want to tune a frequency by pushing those little buttons in flight.. I could be wrong but it strikes me as a lousy user interface. I know you can link it to the MGL EFIS in which case it might not be as bad, but stand alone i think it would it would be very annoying.

In fairness it should be noted that you can upload a frequency list directly into the v10 using your computer,so instead of tuning a freq. you choose a frequency. http://youtu.be/bhsIBV6AxqM explained around 2min.15 sec.into video. This makes it fairly easy to use I would hope.My only problem is I will have to purchase windows for my mac

That still doesn't sound very user friendly to me.. unless you never leave your own neighborhood. On flight following in the LA area i have to change frequency every 5 seconds (a bit of an exaggeration). There is no way i could program in everything that i would need.
