The folks at Sonex Aircraft were kind enough to make these files available to help with panel layouts.

Cleaner version. I have been using Microsoft Visio and can save the output in a variety of formats. Have very little to contribute to the forum so glad to add this.

Sorry for the stumbles. I'll try this again. I cleaned up the files and added a dwg.
Didn't have any practice in saving file as pdf or dwg so stumbled. These may be more useful. I don't us dwg and have no idea what is in the file. I can save the visio to it but can't see the contents. I hand drew the panel outline and it is to scale. The grid is 1/2". Hope that it is useful. Visio is handy if you have it on the PC. Has a learning curve but a tool from my previous life. There should be three attachments 1st outline with dimensions, 2nd outline with what my current thinking for layout is, 3rd the dwg file which I suspect contains all of my elements.

Thanks for the input but I actually didn't forget. I had flap switch, trim knob, and MGL radio head in a pervious version. Put it together and set aside for a while. My current thinking is to use an A style trim lever mounted on the side panel and the flap switch in the stick. I ordered the wooden grips with push to talk button and a hat switch that should work. When you look at the iEFIS functions don't see why I would need the radio head. Nice to be able to remodel on the computer versus the band saw. If anyone is interested I also have some highly specialized MGL screen 8 and 9 files that I'm happy to share.

Someone asked for my visio file and I tried to upload it but is too large to post. Anyone that wants the source file give me an email address to sent to and I will get it to you.
